Medical care

Surgery

Outpatient surgical advice (varicose veins, pancreatitis, cholecystitis, etc.)

Surgery

Our center provides outpatient surgical advice and applies conservative (non-operative) treatment for the following conditions:

  • Hemorrhoids
  • Varicose veins (together with a Doppler examination)
  • Gastrointestinal diseases: ulcer disease, gastritis, pancreatitis, cholecystitis
  • Gallstone disease
  • Diabetic foot
  • Hernia
  • Trophic ulcers

Hemorrhoid disease

Hemorrhoids are nodular dilations of the veins in the lower part of the rectum. This vascular plexus around the rectum is present in every person and has a specific function — a sealing function. However, the problems that arise when the vascular plexus near the anus expands are considered a disease that needs to be treated.

Varicose veins

Before the consultation the patient is examined by an ultrasonography specialist who gives a conclusion on the condition of the leg veins; the surgeon then evaluates the clinical picture and develops a treatment plan.

Gallstone disease

Symptoms:

  • Unstable and pale stool.
  • A bitter taste in the mouth.
  • Sharp cutting pain in the right hypochondrium. Pain can sometimes radiate to the back, the shoulder blade and the neck. The pain is often linked to eating fatty food.
  • Belching and flatulence.
  • Coated tongue.
When should you see a doctor? When at least one symptom is present.
